Just when you thought that you had enough Final Fantasy VII news after the Final Fantasy VII remake during the 2015 E3, Square Enix is still launching the Final Fantasy PC port to PS4 this coming Winter.
Video game website Nova Crystallis first broke the news regarding the release date of this version of Final Fantasy VII saying that the release will be on October 16, 2015 in North America and Europe however, Square Enix has denied it through Gematsu, saying:
“We can confirm that the published release date for this title is incorrect. As discussed at this year’s E3, Final Fantasy VII will be ported to the PlayStation 4 in Winter 2015. The pricing has already been announced last December to be set at $15.99.”
The SRP of the game is set for $15.99, $1 higher than its PC counterpart.
If you remember, Square Enix announced the Final Fantasy VII PC port going to PS4 during the Playstation Experience last December 2014 and it is dubbed as a “video game troll” as fans and gamers alike are not that excited with the same game coming to PS4.
Final Fantasy VII PC port could be a holiday game, most probably a November-December release date so make sure to make your wallet ready.
