Invizimals: The Resistance is a sequel from the game ‘Invizimals: The Lost Alliance’. The game revolves around the search for “Pre-Cursor” Invizimal in order to stop Mr. Black and the Xtractors from ruining the Invizimals World. Hiro and his company must find the 5 Invizimal champions to summon the “Pre-Cursor!”
I won’t spoil the story for you but the story is a bit typical, save this/save that, battle this/battle that – sounds repetitive but you will definitely enjoy because of the different Invizimals you can capture and train.
There are three different modes that can be played and the multiplayer action rocks! The story mode though only has 2v2 & 1v1 game modes so you might want to level up your best Invizimal so you can feel the game. You need to have a good strategy and vectors (special items on the game) in order to outwit against the AIs. I suggest plenty of grinding to level-up all your Invizimals to at least level 16 to make later battles easier for you. You also have the option to skip grinding and enjoy the game, it’s really enjoyable to win when you’re near death.
In game sound effects is kinda ‘meh’. It’s just like hearing DBZ and One Piece fighting sounds, nothing much going on but you know it’s almost done.
The game is still enjoyable and amazing especially when you level up different Invizimals so that you can feel you’ve accomplished something extraordinary. Each Invizimal has their own uniqueness and abilities but it gets bland later on but you still won’t get tired. End game play allows you to heavy grind/train your Invizimals once your past a certain point in the game.
I can recommend this game to players who just wants to pass the time either on 2v2 or free for all in multiplayer combat, or against AI. You can also wait for a PSN sale so it’s more worth it. I had fun and still wrecking other Invizimals in multiplayer, so COME AT ME BRO!
PS: This game is easy to platinum so if you’re a trophy hunter, this is good news for you. A bit of heavy grinding is needed to get all the trophies after the story mode. Other than that, the game is good since everything feels fresh especially if you encounter different enemies or your Invizimal levels up. Lastly if you have any questions or need tips, feel free to send me an IM so I can help you finish the game.
