September is the start of the price increase of PS Plus in US – from $50 to $60. Many gamers disagree on this as Playstation usually gives out not so good games for the past couple of months, however, this month is different as the free games for PS Plus subscribers will get several popular games.
To start off, the highly acclaimed indie game from Thegamecompany, Journey, will be free for PS3 and PS4 this month
Journey was first released in PS3 in 2012 and it received positive reviews since then. You can read my impression with Journey here when I first played it on PS4.
The next game for free in PS4 is Lords of the Fallen. This third-person action role playing game from Deck 13 Interactive and published by Bandai Namco is usually compared with Souls series having the same combat approach and difficulty. If you’re into Souls series and Bloodborne, you’ll definitely love Lords of the Fallen.
For PS3, PS Plus subscribers will get Prince of Persia: Forgotten Sands and Datura.
To wrap up the free games for September, Amnesia: Memories will be free for PS Vita and a cross platform game for PS4, PS3 and PS Vita – Badland.
Make sure to upgrade you PS4 hard drive for you to be able to save all of these awesome games.
