Seems like Star Wars Battlefront wants players to upgrade their gaming rigs to pack more muscle into their systems. The game requires 8GB of RAM as a minimum.

If your PC can run previous DICE games like Battlefield 4 and Battlefield Hardline will be able to run the game right off the bat, but if your gaming PC is struggling to play these games, you might want to upgrade so you’ll be able to enjoy Star Wars Battlefront without much hiccups.

As previously mentioned, PCs that barely have the minimum requirements will still be able to play the game smoothly at it’s lowest settings as there are a lot room for tweaks in the graphics settings.

“It’s good news for those considering playing the game on a lower-end PC, as there are plenty of settings to work with. On the low setting we inevitably see the biggest compromises to ambient occlusion (which is switched off outright), texture quality and shadow resolution – but ultimately the visual set-up holds strong.”

Star Wars Battlefront is scheduled to be available on November 17, 2015 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, while the open beta opens today (October 8, 2015).
