Watch: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain trailer at Gamescom 2015

Konami is headlining every video game blogs these past couple of months because of termination of Metal Gear creator, Hideo Kojima that also leads to cancellation of Silent Hills (crossing my fingers for that rumored future project of Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro), and that news that Konami is not treating their employees very well, but I think that all that negative news will be forgotten for a while after watching the latest trailer of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain that was recently shown during the 2015 Gamescom. Check out the video above.

Metal Gear Solid V trailer_Gamepad ProjectI have to admit it, I watched the trailer at least 5 times and the excitement still keeps building. This is a perfect ending for the final project of Hideo Kojima and his team with Konami.

And BTW, it is nice to see that the trailer still shows the logo of Kojima Productions in the trailer even though the word “Kojima Productions” is not visible and they already removed the logo and the name in the MGS V: The Phantom Pain box cover, they still manage to show the “fox” logo of Kojima Productions in the trailer.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will be available on Sept. 1, 2015 for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3 and PS4.
