SEGA is thinking of remastering Yakuza 2,3,4 and 5 for PS4

Just in time for Yakuza 5 being a free PS3 game for PS Plus subscribers for August, SEGA is considering to remaster Yakuza 2,3,4 and 5 for PS4.

During the livestream interview of producer Toshihiro Nagoshi in Japan, he mentioned that Yakuza: Kiwami was a big success in Japan and in other parts of Asia so SEGA is thinking of remaking all the Yakuza games released in PS3.

Sony has been a big supporter of game remasters since they think that most PS4 users doesn’t have a PS3 so remastering PS3 games will allow them to experience the games in their PS4 console.

Although there’s no assurance that this plan will push through and Nagoshi didn’t make any promises, it will be awesome to see these games is PS4 console.
