Geralt will have something to smile about. Not because of Yennefer, but because it won 5 awards in recently concluded Golden Joysticks Awards 2015 including Best Storytelling, Best Visual Design, Best Gaming Moment (Bloody Baron quest), Studio of the Year for its developer CD Projekt Red and Game of the Year.
According to its organizer, over 9 million votes were cast publicly, and the said activity was held in indigO2 at London’s O2 Arena, hosted by Danny Wallace.
These games also won two awards each – Bloodborne for Best Original Game and Best Playstation Game, Ori and the Blind Forest for Best Audio and Best Xbox Game, Splatoon for Best Family Game and Best Nintendo Game and Fallout series for Best Mobile game for Fallout Shelter and Most Anticipated Game Award for Fallout 4.
Golden Joysticks also awarded former Nintendo CEO and President Satoru Iwata for Lifetime Achievement Award.
