Two JRPG’s are set to release exclusively for Xbox One

Who said that JRPG’s are for PS4, PS Vita and Nintendo 3DS only?

Despite its low performance in terms of sales, Xbox One is still pushing its way to Japanese market by planning to release two Japanese Role Playing Games (JRPG’s) next year.

During the UStream event as reported by Pure Xbox, CEO of Experience Inc., Hajime Chikami confirmed that two titles under development which is set to release digitally, in full English translation and exclusive to Xbox One.

The first title is Stranger of World City which was originally released for Xbox 360, PC and PS Vita. It is reported that it is going to be a remake with a new art style approach. Chikami said that the new design was taken from the advice of the publisher. This dungeon crawling game is set to release in first quarter of 2016.

The second game has a working title of Students of Round 2, and unlike the Stranger of World City, this game is planned as a tactical JRPG similar to Fire Emblem. The game’s target release date is between April 2016 to March 2017.
