Xbox One confirms that they won’t be at this year’s Tokyo Game Show

For the second year in a row, Microsoft/Xbox One confirmed that they won’t be attending Tokyo Game Show but instead, they will be having their own event in Japan on October.

The event will be called Xbox Big Thanksgiving or “Xbox Dai Kansha-sai.”

Last year, the Xbox One exclusive event garnered a lot gamers from different parts of Japan, and attendees were able to play Rise of the Tomb Raider, Rainbow Six: Siege and more. Though no date and place yet for this event, Xbox Japanese fans will surely anticipate this one.

As for the Tokyo Game Show, the expo will kick off with Business Days on September 15-16, 2016, and the admission for this Business Days are strictly for people working in the game industry and those in the press. The Public Days will start on September 17-18, 2016 and the tickets will be sold for 1,000 Yen for advanced purchase and 1,200 Yen for on-the-day purchase. The location of the event will be at Makuhari Messe is Chibi City, Japan.
